………… Three of these four have spouses in-game. So why do I ship this entire family as same-sex couples?

It’s the ships. I just can’t agree with everyone else. There is a fundamental disconnect between how I view these characters and their relationships with one another and how the SW fandom views them. Fandom, I think your ships are nonsensical and often extraordinarily creepy. I’m certain you would feel the same way about mine.

Because of this, we will never be able to agree.

To be clear, I’m not bashing on any particular ships. That’s all completely subjective. Hell, I ship Kanbei and Hanbei, and that’s probably one of the creepiest fucking ships I’ve ever seen out at sea. Everyone can ship whoever they want with whatever they want.

What I’m saying is that in general, the way I interpret these characters, their relationships, and these games overall is different from the way in which the majority of the fandom interprets them - which is most prominently displayed in various ships. My very different opinion and interpretation is why I don’t mesh well with the fandom.
